Manager of materials manufacturing plant for the building industry.

Grangeford Structures Ltd, Carlow: 1977 – 1986
Position Held: Managing Director

Michael established Grangeford Structures Ltd to design, manufacture and erect precast concrete building structures for the industrial, commercial and leisure markets.

Avonmore Creameries Ltd (Now Glanbia PLC), Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny: 1986 – 2000
Last Position Held: Project Manager – Operations Director

Michael joined Avonmore Creameries Ltd in 1968 as a Project Manager and progressed steadily to Engineering Manager and in turn Director of Operations. During this time Michael was responsible for the coordination and delivery of highly specialised processes which were marketed worldwide.

Michael joined Nolan Ryan in 2000 working as a Senior Project Manager. Responsibilities included developing the roles of Project Management and Building Services Quantity Surveying in the Partnership.
